Assoc. Prof. Do Van Manh have been working at the Institute of Science and Technology for Energy and Environment (ISTEE) under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) for 24 years. Trained in biotechnology at university and graduate school, in 2012 the author graduated from the doctoral program at National Taiwan University in environmental engineering and was recognized as an Associate Professor in 2019. Currently, Assoc. Prof. Manh holds the position of Director at the Institute of Energy and Environmental Science and Technology under VAST. His research focus on emerging pollution, waste treatment, and energy recovery to serve the goals of green growth and sustainable development with more than 100 paper works published, of which over 50% were international articles. Through his scientific career, he has been awarded with Special Research Award (2021), Best Research Award (2020) and Outstanding Research Award (2015-2023) by VAST, Outstanding Innovation Award (2020) by Asian Innovation Award and Innovation Working Award (2015) by Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
